DIVISION D: FLORAL EXHIBITS
Judging Requirements
1 Read the schedule carefully and DO NOT exceed the dimensions stated:
measurement is to extreme edge of exhibit.
2 Plant material must predominate over accessories and containers.
3 All plant material should be in good condition. Give it a good soak before arranging.
4 Unless specified, no artificial material may be used.
5 Dried flowers may be used where specified.
6 Dried material must be undamaged and dust free, added surface colour may be used.
7 In foliage exhibits ONLY leaves, unopened buds (showing no colour) may be
used. Flowerless bracts may be used. Berries may not be used.
8 All components should be in scale with each other.
9 Accessories should be used sparingly and should complement the design.
A suitable base will help to coordinate the design. Base optional.
10 Maximum height of exhibits 61cm (24”).
11 Material for the floral exhibits does not have to be grown by the exhibitor.
